Jeff Bertholet

In October 2023, Jeff joined the Crop Development Centre as the Industry Liaison Officer. In this role, they play a key part in advancing the Centre’s industry engagement strategy, working closely with stakeholders such as seed companies, grower and trade associations, and government representatives.

Jeff holds both a BSc in Agriculture and an MSc in Weed Science/Agronomy from the University of Manitoba. With over 40 years of experience in the agricultural industry across eastern and western Canada, they bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the position. Much of their career was spent with BASF Canada, where they held a range of roles in Field Research, Technical Service, and Marketing.
