Gloria Gingera

Gloria was raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and pursued her post-secondary education at the University of Manitoba. Through a reciprocity agreement, she also attended the University of Minnesota, where she completed a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy, officially graduating through the University of Manitoba.

She began her career at the University of Minnesota, working in integrated pest management (IPM) and entomology programs. She relocated to Des Moines, Iowa, where she spent a year in the private sector. In 1999, she returned to Canada to join the Department of Plant Sciences and the Crop Development Centre.
